ABOUT US

My mother made sure every meal at home came with a crunch. Papad with dal-chawal. Something crisp with chai. A little bite with lunch, because why not?

Growing up, this was more than food, it was a ritual. That satisfying khatak of the papad, the hand-roasted edges curling just a little, the warm laughter around the table as someone always took the last piece.

Hi, I'm Prashant. I've lived away from home for 12 years. Away from the small plate of something crunchy that always found its way to our dining table.

Meals got quicker, flavours got fancier, but that crunch? It quietly slipped away.

So I started Hastak. A humble attempt to bring that crispy joy back to the table. Not as a trend, but as a tradition.
We're bringing back papads and bites; timeless, tasty, and handmade with care. The kind you don’t just eat, but remember.

Now, if you’re wondering what ‘Hastak’ means, there’s a story there too. One I’d love to tell you another day.
